The complete half-day walk

Ep. 10 · Walking the overwritten street in one go

FitTrip Editor · 2026.07.16

To close the series, the Huguenot layer (Ep. 2), one building’s 300 years (Ep. 3), the Jewish layer (Ep. 4), Banglatown (Ep. 5), the markets (Ep. 6), the food (Ep. 7), the murals (Ep. 8) and the Truman dispute (Ep. 9) are woven into one walking route: Liverpool Street → Old Spitalfields → Fournier Street → 59 Brick Lane → the curry strip → Beigel Bake → the Truman Brewery → the mural lanes → Shoreditch High Street. On Sundays, add Columbia Road as stop zero.

This is not a route for famous architecture. It is a walk that reads, layer by layer, the people who overwrote one street for 350 years.
