Vivid Sydney runs from May 22 to June 13, 2026, and The Rocks is considered one of the best spots to take it in Fact. The Pylon Lookout, however, closed for renovation in 2025 and is scheduled to reopen sometime in 2026 — confirm its status before you go Confirm before visiting.
A quieter alternative
Observatory Hill is a quieter viewpoint than the Pylon Lookout and makes a good alternative.
